The course is composed of a multi-faceted approach to the world of Illustration. Throughout the different classes, theory and practice, will allow the students to better understand the potential and concepts behind the process of illustrating texts, articles, posters, etc. Alongside the practical classes, which will allow them to evolve their visual techniques, there is a great deal of attention devoted to the interpretation of case-studies, both from the history of Illustration and from the contemporary scene. Also the limits of the medium will be explored, namely in the points of contact with other visual arts, such as Graphic Design and Comics.
